Bed bug heat treatment is a miracle. You see, the problem with pests is that they are usually difficult to get rid of. For example, bed bugs can come back again over and over. This happens no matter what you do. But this is why the heat technique is so popular. It gives you a 99% chance of getting rid of these pests with just one treatment. It also prevents them from coming back. But why is this?
There’s a simple reason why bed bug heat treatment is so effective. The problem with techniques like fumigation, or pesticide spraying, is they don’t target the eggs. Another issue is that bed bugs take great pains to hide their eggs away, so always remember to prepare for a heat treatment.
These are hidden down deep crevices and cracks. They are placed on the underside of things like beds, cupboards, and side tables. It’s very hard for poison fumes to penetrate into these places. It’s also difficult to reach these areas with pesticides.
What happens then is that the eggs hatch and the cycle begins all over again. Within a few weeks, you’re itching and scratching and the bed bugs are back. This is also why you’ll probably need repeated treatments. You have to hit the bed bugs over and over again until the population collapses. This is a major pain (and also extremely expensive.)
But that’s why more and more people are requesting bed bug heat treatment and asking questions of their bed bug company. This method is completely different to things like fumigation. The machine heats up the air inside of the affected space.
Air is all around us, even in the tiniest and deepest spaces. This means the bed bugs have nowhere to hide. As this air becomes hotter and hotter, it kills every bed bug. It also kills their eggs, and nymphs. They cannot survive, no matter where the bugs have hidden them.
With the eggs dead, the bed bugs cannot reproduce and the problem is solved for good, meaning you don’t have to throw away your mattress or furniture. What’s also nice about bed bug heat treatment is that it kills all other bugs as well. It also leaves your room feeling clean and fresh.
That being said, this problem isn’t entirely fool proof. We only said that it’s 99% effective. The reality is that bed bugs can still come in from outside. You may also bring in bed bugs into the home. This can happen from simply sitting on public transport.
This is why you need to hire a competent and experience pest control company. We can assess the situation and treat the room so that 100% of the bugs are killed. We can also provide you with pest proofing services and advice. This prevents bed bugs from entering your home, and greatly increases your chances of getting rid of them for good.
